Our association was established in 2019 with the aim of contributing to improving the health of the people of both countries through medical cooperation between Japan and the Republic of Indonesia. In particular, we aim to improve medical care and welfare by collaborating with Japan's medical system, technology, equipment, facilities, etc., which maintain high standards worldwide. Therefore, our main activities are support through exchanges of medical professionals and experts between the two countries, dis semination and enlightenment activities for medical and welfare personnel in the Republic of Indonesia, and consulting business.
The association has held two ``Advanced Medical Forums'' in the Republic of Indonesia, where experts in the medical and welfare fields from both countries gather. Approximately 500 people, including government officials from both countries, participated in this forum,confirming the importance of medical cooperation between the two countries, and discussing plans for further cooperation in the future. In particular, there were many requests from the Republic of Indonesia for support for medical workers and medical equipment from Japan. The need for a concrete plan to provide comprehensive support for newly constructed medical facilities was also discussed, and further cooperation between the two countries is expected in the future.
Our association will relocate its office in July 2023 and begin new activities. We appreciate your continued support to our association in order to improve the medical standards of Japan and the Republic of Indonesia.
